What I liked
The tech elements really heightened my experience. Good use of the sound of the heartbeat when making decisions. The characters and their storylines were relateable which led to you really going back and forth in making decisions with your heart or brain. I left wondering what would happen in the other outcomes of each scenario. What a GREAT time!

I can’t wait for this to be a stand-alone show!
My overall impression
I am going to try and not spoil too much but…Wow! MB Stage continues to successfully push the boundaries of what we know as a “regular” theatre experience. Every show of theirs is always more innovative than the one before. The Study is no different. I am first only talking about the concept because if someone were to tell you this idea, you might say it would be impossible to pull off. Not for David and Jared. I am always amazed by how well they create these interactive and immersive productions. The Study kept me on the edge of my seat, always wondering what would OR could happen next. I second guessed every decision I made and I also had some “oh.” moments when I saw how I voted for each situation the characters were put in. I left the show wanting to immediately go back and experience it again. I laughed, screamed, and enjoyed all 90 minutes (went by very quickly!) of this show. GO SEE IT.
