What I liked

The characters and story is rich, and that ending is simultaneously heartbreaking and heartwarming. Also there are small nuances to the characters that really make this feel like a living, breathing workplace, not just a setting.

What I didn't like

I was sitting in the back row, and sometimes, I just couldn’t hear the actors. There was at least one moment for each actor where it was difficult to hear them.

I also felt, story-wise, that Gary’s reasoning for staying where he is was left too ambiguous. I wasn’t too sure what was keeping him there.

My overall impression

A fantastically deep an interesting story hidden away in what appears to be a generally boring setting, Just One Moment is a diamond in the rough, with rich characters, all with their own motivations that drive them. What one seems on the outside is only the surface of what rich depths these characters have. Not to mention the purgatory setting has it’s own rich rules, some which are laid out, and some that are left to the imagination. Plus, as a person who’s survival job is in a call center, it is extremely cathartic for me.
