What I liked
This is the second piece of work I’ve seen by Ms. Fowler (last year’s “Bled For the Household Truth” was superb) and she is a talent. Like “Bled” in this piece she tackles very difficult subject matter in a profound way and makes the audience very uncomfortable. Obviously in our culture we still have a problem with forcing unrealistic body expectations on women and this show really shows the damage that can do and does do to women, to our friends, sisters, significant others etc.
Combing Ms. Fowler’s superb script with some tight direction and a great performance by Maliabeth Johnson and you have a winner! This one was picked a Best of the Broadwater for a reason!

If Ruth Fowler is the author, you go see the show! And go see this one! It’s a raw and powerful exploration of a very important topic! Great stuff!
