What I liked

It wasn’t typical of most one person shows in that it felt more like dropping in on a conversation mid sentence and being able to watch like a fly on the wall as this person tries to piece together their broken vision of self. She tries to fool her listener and herself into thinking everything is alright (as we all often do) but we find out her true happiness is a nothing more than a pipe dream. The direction was razor sharp and the character’s life was so specific. No fat at all on this one (pun intended).

What I didn't like

It had a bit of a preview feel in parts, no doubt because it was the first performance for an audience, but I can tell it will only get better and better. Though its hard to imagine the actress being more connected to the part.

My overall impression

Great show! Succinct and perfectly acted with a story that reveals itself in pieces that, when they come together, make us wonder how we didn’t see the inevitable end coming.
