World Premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival

June 06, 2018

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
“Nights in Squirt City, Phukenburg” makes its world premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. In a post-truth, globalized society, where factual lines are blurred, the play explores the intricate and complicated corners of the dark-web. Natasha666, a young Russian girl aspiring for more than dancing in a sex chat room, encounters faceless characters who might be communicating truth or lies. This ensemble piece was written by Alex M. Frankel and directed by Jed Alexander.

About this online world, director Jed Alexander says, “There are no absolute truths.” And he calls this world “Relativism at its finest.” About the character Natasha he says, “My hope is to show her representing the one shining light in this play within an already dark world, to combat the distortion of facts and truth.”

Now playing at Studio C, 6448 Santa Monica Blvd, Hollywood.
