What I liked

All the actors were great. A kind of “go for broke” acting, which I love. A good yin-and-yang with the two leads. The lead actress was very charming with a character that could easily be played as just “crazy chick.” And the lead actor was really good at deflating dramatic moments so it never became “too heavy” and kept it grounded.

What I didn't like

The second half sometimes got a little too dramatic for me. A little too much “this happen to me in the past” monologuing that slowed to story down for me. But the actors kept it buoyant, so f$&% it.

My overall impression

It’s a wild ride. I couldn’t tell you exactly what happened, but the chemistry of all the actors kept me involved. It’s a kind of “misery loves/needs company” story that sneaks up on you. Very meta at moments. You’re constantly trying to figure out what exactly is going on, which I never really succeeded in doing. But I think that was the point. Life’s nonsensical; just grab onto what’s in front of you.

It’s a bit of a head-f&*#.
