What I liked

Fresh, Fast and Funny Material, professionally done with well-utilized abstract sets and Really Clever Costumes (black plus a single accent color per show). All of the cast are versatile and adept, but Hannah M Goodman especially shines.

Keep ’Em Coming!

My overall impression

For the second consecutive year New Musicals Inc, a Valley-based learning academy, has brought some of its best work to Fringe for very limited runs. You’d be LUCKY to get a seat for any of them, but this year PART ONE (RED) is the better of the two programs: 4 X 15 minutes (on the dot!), all with the same acting cadre (2M/2F), demonstrating their versatility.. ONE=2 hilarious stories starring anthopomorphic animals, splendidly directed by Elise Dewsberry on abstract sets, with especially clever costuming (basic black plus one accent color per show) plus a family comedy and a sentimental romance equally adept. All are studded with professional-level songs and each leaves its audience smiling! Can any more be demanded of Musical Comedy?
