What I liked

I was surprised to see that Ain’t that America had a relatively small audience because I found the quality astounding for a fairly limited set. Even if you find yourself disagreeing with the author’s political standpoint, he and his team know how to build anticipation and deliver a compelling story to the audience. The entirety of its 50-minute run was exciting throughout with no moment feeling losing your attention.

What I didn't like

I wish there were more people see this brilliant piece.

My overall impression

Brilliant script, stage direction, and cast. I haven’t been this captivated in two-handler for a very long time. Because the play takes a contrary approach to left-wing issues, the story was unique, surprising and vivid. The intensity of how they addressed this perspective and how it was ingrained into the story made for an extremely profound and immersive experience, especially during the last act. The actors felt grounded and were very talented. At one point, I forgot that I was sitting in a theatre. I had a long day, but there’s nothing like seeing a well-made play to end the night. It’s like a breath of fresh air.
