Chris’ script is so funny and smart. He brought depth, sweetness and humor to characters that are often stereotyped or made into superficial villains, and the story unfolds with compassion for everyone in spite of their self-centered actions. The acting was truly top notch, most notably the lead. And Joshua Fu did a great job of activating the dialogue-heavy scenes, and finding honesty in the (intentionally) awkward moments.
What I didn't like
No complaints!
My overall impression
Terrific script, beautiful acting. A nuanced, funny and intimate portrayal of friendship across the expanding social divide.
