What I liked
The audience inclusion and interaction was one of my favorite parts of the production!! It was a lot of fun to play along, and it helped create the environment of the piece – it was just like being in church! I also loved the attention to detail, the program was just as funny as the show :)
What I didn't like
It’s hard to say since I saw the production in previews. I know the cast was up against some unforeseen sound obstacles, which I think they handled really well. They adapted quickly, and made changes that served the story in addition to solving the technical issues.
My overall impression
Kevin Flood shines in his World Premiere production of CHURCHED! You’ll leave the theatre laughing, only to come home to have a more serious discussion about organized religion – CHURCHED! is humorous and thought provoking! Definitely a show to catch during the 2018 Fringe Fest!
