What I liked

I really appreciated how grounded Manny Rodriguez played the mobster character Giuseppe as it created a realistic foundation for an otherwise prosperous plot. He gently guided the audience into the ensuing over-the-top (in a fun way!) performances of the other characters. I also really enjoyed Thomas Vohasek’s portrayal of Salsman as he played the character with impeccable comedic timing and he was just so dang adorable.

What I didn't like

It would have been helpful to know what time period we were in. It seemed like “old” Hollywood but then cell phones were referenced. The lack of clarity for that made the play somewhat confusing.

My overall impression

The show was really fun and entertaining. I’m a huge fan of stage “special effects.” Kudos to all of the actors as they were all so committed and they each owned their roles. There were also some really great jokes in the play that had me laughing ridiculously hard!
