What I liked

The girl playing Rose, Kaitlin Ruby, was perfectly cast. She was sweet and funny but also intense when the moments called for it. The actor playing Erol, Niko Papastefanou, gave an outstanding performance. I mean, this guy is clearly a professional. An incredible balance of comedy and drama. He had me laughing throughout and crying at the end. Keep an eye out for these two, they’re going places. The whole cast was great.

What I didn't like

The girl playing Maryland’s accent was a bit all over the place and she sped through her lines at times, maybe it was nerves. Though she still did a great job. I also think they could have used a better looking gun for the show. The guy playing Salsman: it was a bit hard to hear his lines sometimes because of volume and mumbling occasionally. But he’s certainly the right type for the character.

My overall impression

Hilarious! Props to Brandon Pfeltz for great writing and directing! Great balance of humor and darkness. But there were one or two lines that seemed to just be thrown in there for the soul purpose of shock value and not really to serve the story. Regardless, I hope this thing goes on for a longer run someplace. It has the potential to run for years! Honestly, if you were to see one show from the Fringe this year, it should be this one!
