APRIL 25, 2018 – LOS ANGELES – From the moment actor/producer Leah Verrill saw a production of Deborah Brevoort’s The Women of Lockerbie last fall in Massachusetts, she knew she wanted to bring it to Los Angeles, more specifically to Fringe. What she experienced was a beautiful and brilliantly written play about grief and how love can prevail, a message she knew she needed to share. As such, Little Earthquakes Ensemble will bring The Women of Lockerbie to studio/stage this June as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

A modern Greek tragedy about the triumph of love over hate, The Women of Lockerbie is a poetic play about a mother from New Jersey who roams the hills of Lockerbie, Scotland looking for her son’s remains, which were lost in the crash of Pan Am Flight 103. She meets the women of Lockerbie, who are fighting the U.S. government to obtain the clothing of the victims found in the plane’s wreckage.
