You never get to hear the story of the Wizard of Oz from each character's lone perspective. They are always intertwined with one another. This beautiful production gives us insight into those perspectives and although we may think we know these characters very well, we find out much more about them from The Oz Monologues. The show is pure poetry. What a fresh take on the Wizard of Oz. Each monologue has its own unique word play in it and stands out among the rest. Unique ideas fun takes on these iconic characters I am so glad I got to see the show.
