I loved every aspect of this show. First, the performance: Kelly, as Marylin, is brilliant. She captures Marylin’s essence and slays the audience with her acting and singing. Second, the writing is truly great. Marylin is speaking to a reporter, which uses the audience very well. Many one person shows forget to address who the character is speaking to. This show is so well researched, in lesser hands it could have come across as a newspaper article. But, with Kelly’s writing, the show is moving, funny, and transports us to Monroe’s home, her life and her inner struggles.

My overall impression
A fantastic portrayal of Marylin Monroe, excellent writing and so well done she received a standing ovation the night I saw it.
