What I liked

The writing, acting, directing, and staging were phenomenal.

What I didn't like

It could be a smidgen shorter. The show needs to be extended for the Fringe, and eventually filmed professionally—like Spaulding Gray’s SWIMMING TO CAMBODIA and John Leguizamo’s GHETTO CLOWN.

My overall impression

Kelly Mullis received a well-deserved extended standing ovation for this passion project she wrote and performed. This is what you call a performance! This delightful piece fires on all emotional cylinders. Kelly Mullis’ MARILYN MONROE: THE LAST INTERVIEW is on par with Spaulding Gray’s SWIMMING TO CAMBODIA and John Leguizamo’s GHETTO CLOWN. I don’t want to say more, because Fringe audiences need to experience it—not read about it.
