Acting was strong, with Alex Skinner as an absolute stand out. Very well staged—this is a professional show.
What I didn't like
Some technical difficulties that will no doubt be fixed by the 2nd performance. The first part of the play could use more narrative drive.
My overall impression
Very solid work everywhere. This is a main stage ensemble play at the Fringe! I really liked the history of the play, the work of the actors, and became more and more engrossed in the characters’ conflicts. The play left me thinking about race and diversity in new ways, stepping outside conventional understanding, which I loved.
