What I liked
I particularly liked having learned. Lyralyn is many things (actor, producer, writer, etc) but she is instinctively a teacher. She teaches her audience, in this show, how to not only understand but see the gifts in diversity. We all process the world in our own ways, and she introduces us to and de-stigmatizes her own unique, complicated, beautiful way.
What I didn't like
I would have loved to have learned more about her experiences in Canada, but I guess there is only so much time…
My overall impression
What an honest, riveting, and innovative show! Lyralen was able to articulate the dread and helplessness that so many of us are experiencing in the Trump era. It was cathartic.
