What I liked
I loved when Lyralen would step in and out of the story and so sincerely talk to us. I was inspired by her strength to share her story in the form of art
What I didn't like
Just one thing. I had trouble following some of the transitions between characters, but that’s all :)
My overall impression
This piece was beautiful and raw. Lyralen Kaye’s story and performance is very compelling. The actor herself is grounded and centered. She genuinely connects with the audience on a level I don’t see/experience often. The entirety of the performance felt like a conversation with a close friend…I could feel the strength and love in the room.
