What I liked

Rob Bruner charms and disarms in his lilting confessional play about how he struggled to come into manhood as a child of divorce living under the tutelage of an Indian guru. Bruner’s ease onstage brings us not only into his extraordinary tale of being a young disciple, but his own bewilderment, loneliness, and yearning to be good.

What I didn't like

He performs his solo show naturally with flourishes of self deprecating humor and teenage rock and roll angst.

My overall impression

Warmly recommended for anyone considering moving to an ashram or who survived adolescence.
