What I liked

At its best moments, the show evoked images of Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters. This is the type of variety show you would expect to see on Haight-Ashbury in the mid 60s. My favorite performers were the God character and the juggler. I also loved the the technicolor wizard robes.

What I didn't like

There were several technical problems that took me out of the show, mostly with the projector and performers going out of order. There was a moment where the stage manager had to physically move one of the speakers so that they would appear in the spotlight better.

My overall impression

A variety show that embraced its loosey-goosey structure so much that the majority of it was very chaotic and unorganized. All of the performers were skilled at what they were doing, and there were several really fun moments, but I was left feeling like everything was thrown together last minute.
