What I liked

The title is funny and is referenced in a way in the show that works delightfully. That said, I would expect that if you didn’t get to know or meet Steve ahead of time, like I did, you may take the title seriously and loose out on a terrifically fun time at the theater. Read these reviews and be sure to catch this show!

What I didn't like

A more thorough or robust lighting design would take the performance to the next level. It would be great to be able to see you a bit better.

My overall impression

Just as the piece begins to play closer to a stand-up set than a traditional solo-performance, Steve shifts into storytelling mode, making the piece hilariously funny, heart-felt and personal all at the same time. He has a wonderful, mostly deadpan delivery with bits that he calls back and returns to over and over… again, in ways that are surprising and real.
