The writing & production were well-thought out and compelling. I thought it was perfect how somewhat complex ideas were presented in a simple manner. You can certainly feel all of the preparation and research that went into this. The actors were fantastic and really brought it to life beautifully. My favorite part was that there was room to pause and question things. I traveled from “did he really rape her?” to “yes, he did” as the story advanced. Having the freedom and cushion to journey through those emotions made it incredible impactful and forever memorable. THANKYOUFORTHIS!

My overall impression
Everyone, everywhere needs to see this. It’s so important on every level that we understand these dynamics. Seeing this as a performance helps frame how we should behave when it happens in everyday life. It’s emotional and intense, but it flows beautifully with intermittent humor to lighten the darkness. If I would have been exposed to something like this prior to college, I could have helped so many more people who went through this understand their options, and know they weren’t alone. So many people are terrified of what this play showcases, and that makes it even more important to expose.
