“Seneca: A Journey Through Space and Time” is a musical one-woman show about living at the end of the world. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic America, which has been devastated by an authoritarian form of artificial intelligence named Tetra.
When Madge, a hermetic scholar from Atlanta, receives a mysterious message, she is forced to leave her home. She rides across the devastated landscape of what used to be known as America, on her sentient motorcycle Seneca, in search of remaining living humans, and herself.
This show, about the evils of technology, the importance of literature, and the quality of loneliness, speaks to the times in which we live.
