What I liked
I loved hearing Africa and seeing the movement of Africa. It was so familiar yet I know I haven’t been home to Africa yet but my heart knew the sounds already. Representation on the stage is so vital and I’m so glad this play won a scholarship and had the chance to live. I look forward to seeing where it goes next or what comes next for Camille and cast!

My overall impression
Fantastic work. My heart was filled with such joy as I watched the beautiful actresses onstage. A true representation of the many looks of black women. The play is powerful as that it lives in two worlds connecting us to Africa and the plight African -Americans face today. Not an easy feat but Camille accomplished cross generational story telling!
