What I liked

Visually and aesthetically very pleasing. The choreography and imagery that it evoked was excellent. There was a great blend of the Nigerian and African American experience. It was very palatable and relatable even beyond being a woman or of African descent. Casting was great.

My overall impression

Excellent show. The work was insightful and gave a very fresh perspective of the black women’s experience. Something to be seen no matter who you are. So awesome to hear and see a seldom heard perspective from an African lens. I went in excited and got even more than I expected and left feeling touched and moved by the work. The choreography, visual aesthetic, and acting were all pleasing. Great Casting.
