“F*ck 12 Steps. Do it in 3!” When the road to recovery is paved with bad intentions, fasten your seatbelt.

“Bad Sponsor” is a 90 minute, “R” rated comedy that pokes fun at the 12 Step community in Hollywood.

Isaac (Chase Stogel), a serial entrepreneur, has been making all the wrong financial decisions his whole life. When the shit hits the fan, his wife leaves him, the bank takes his house, his car is repossessed and he’s literally homeless in Hollywood.

Isaac finds his way to a 12-step meeting – not AA, but DA – Debtors Anonymous. When he hears the charismatic, but morally bankrupt, film producer Baron Shepard (John Siscel) speak, he is star-struck. Baron’s pitch makes it seem easy to recover financially, as he has reduced the 12-steps to 3. Isaac is sold.
