What I liked

I thought the choreography worked excellently with the piece. The acting was solid and the points it made are a hundred percent worth considering. Human trafficking is a subject that’s intrigued and horrified me for a while now and it was wonderful to see something not only informative, but moving.

What I didn't like

Since there are three languages spoken in this play (Thai, Spanish, and English) and English used as a bit of a flex language, I was often confused as to what language English was supposed to be at various points throughout the show.

To me, it felt like the show ended at the midpoint. I do like the fact that there was a lot unresolved, since such stories are heart-wrenchingly unresolved in real life, but I think there’s enough here for a second act.

My overall impression

It’s a tough subject that Catalyst has decided to tackle, but one they do with respect and illumination.
