What I liked
I’m a sucker for Otis Redding, so I loved watching the songs happen, and I loved the emotional connection that each performer had with the material that they were able to express and convey to the audience.
What I didn't like
I got glitter on me which is sometimes hard to get off, but that’s about it.
My overall impression
Thought-provoking and inclusive rather than dismissive, this show, while non-linear, tells a story through thematic elements of oppression, power and dominance, and everything in-between that breaks barriers and reaches audiences in a unique way to discuss otherwise taboo topics in an accessible way for all walks of life.
