My overall impression

I have been a fan of these two jokers for years now. I’ve never seen them do anything that wasn’t brilliant. But, last night, they were head and shoulders better than they have ever been. They’ve taken the ultimate taboo subject, our inevitable demise, and created a performance that is unrelentingly subversive, robustly subtle, and, most impressively, side-splitting-ly funny. By juxtaposing our cultural tics, mannerisms and traditions against were it all leads us in the end, Ten West unapologetically proves the absurdity of the human condition. Yet, somehow, despite all the cynicism I brought with me to the theater; when I left, I felt happier to be alive than I have in years.

I can’t wait to see it again.
