I liked the writer’s use of conflict; I loved the actors, especially Jeff LeBeau and Natasha Liu, but the entire cast was excellent. I thought the director, Kiff Scholl staging worked well, especially in the scenes between the sisters, Rose and Lara It established a relationship between them that did not have to be spoken.
What I didn't like
Every once in a while, the actress playing Rose needed to speak more slowing and clearly. Otherwise, she was good.
My overall impression
Fuchou with Bourbon was gripping from beginning to end. The playwright knows how to create dramatic tension, especially within a family situation. The relationships were heightened, yes, but also very real.
