What I liked
There was something really powerful about how the story was told. I was deeply moved by the end.
I also liked the simplicity and the versatility of the staging and the incorporation of live music.
The flower as a symbolism of the messy part of life, and how the performer interacted with it was interesting and effective.
What I didn't like
I really enjoyed the backstory, but because of the title of the show, I was expecting the part about working with the prisoner to come in much sooner.
My overall impression
Honest, vulnerable, undiluted, relatable.
