What I liked
I liked how safe Jen made us all feel. I loved watching Jen and her husband Chris work together, adorable.
What I didn't like
Would have been fab for Jen and Chris if more than 3 of us made the class but the benefit to us was more time getting individual attention.
My overall impression
Jen and Chris were so approachable. It was fab that we got to play. The space is Jens usual space in the Stella Adler Art of Acting School where she runs the conservatory classes and it is stunningly beautiful with sprung floor making it so much easier to play. This was run as an introductory workshop with punches, naps, slaps and contact punches, contact kicks and my favorite chokes. All so much fun. Jen was so easy going and stressed the importance of safety and permission. I am a big proponent of actors being proficient in stage combat and I reckon Jen is a wonderful person to train with if you get the chance.
