Her characters are nuanced and smart, sexy and undeniable. Her blunt view of humanity is brave and staggeringly funny. I found myself gasping at her turns, masterfully commanding the theatre with zany hilarity one moment, while offering up biting poignance the next.
What I didn't like
Our audience reveled in her connection and her honesty. I can’t wait to see more from Bogle and this creative team. There’s something magical brewing here. Why did it have to end?
My overall impression
Ava Bogle is a triumph. If the world ever comes to an end, I hope this show, and Bogle’s unique voice, carry the human race through it.
