This show is fucking amazing. The best thing CPC has done, bar none. Packing eleven million people onto the postage stamp stage of Three Clubs doing an Elizabethan wedding dance to "Smells Like Teen Spirit"?? Seriously? How did they do this???? Bar. Raised. Every character had an arc, the new players were spot on, the choreography was amazing, the (vague spoiler) Ophelia scene was a new unbelievably dark shade to the usual fun times, it was laugh out loud funny, super sexy (as always), I always appreciate wild takes on the Bard, and the band was ON FIRE! Alli Miller and Sarah Haworth-Hodges killed it again and improved on what seemed un-improvable. (Side note: my goal in life remains - "to be Schoen Hodges.") Brava and bravo. ... full review

Cherry Poppins has been called Fringe Royalty and they earned the title yet again. They have raised the bar from previous productions and they had already set it well above head height. The show manages to go from a hilarious and riotous sex comedy to a heart breaking tragedy all the while treating the audience with an endless stream of reimagined pop music, and dick jokes. This company has taken their usually stellar shows and upped their game even further. This show is amazing. ... full review

Amazing, amazing show. CPP hits another home run. This is the best written show, and the performers all crushed their parts. Special shout-out to Schoen Hodges who stole every scene he was in. Great jokes, beautiful vocals, tremendous acting, and a smokin' band. If you can only see one Fringe show, this is it!... full review

The Cherrys have taken it to another level with this show. Yes, you'll still get the sexy/hilarious/bawdy musical numbers and characters but it's definitely their darkest show yet. Anyone who can combine burlesque, musical theater, and social commentary into one neat package is A-ok in my book. It's a must-see! ... full review

I was expecting to be amused by this production, what I wasn’t expecting was to legitimately enjoy myself. There is a loose plot to drive the action forward, but really you go to this show for the singing and the dancing. In that respect, this show does not disappoint. The dancing is crisp, engaging and fun to watch. However, a word from the wise, show up early enough to get an unobstructed view of the stage. Any of the seats against the wall will result in the viewer straining to see around the audience members in front of them. This is not a failing of the production itself, just the layout of the venue. The song selection is fun, and just about anyone who goes will have a laugh out loud moment at least once when they realize what song is ... full review
