What I liked
The intros gave each song an interesting and/or funny context. And the brisk pace made this 50-minute show feel like it was shorter. Leave ’em wanting more . . .
What I didn't like
This is more of a venue criticism, but I was sitting in the middle of the back row directly under the a/c duct, so I was freezing. A grating over the duct to diffuse the air would’ve been helpful. But I suppose it’s better than the alternative, no a/c and we sweat our asses off.
My overall impression
This was a highly entertaining evening of music. A cabaret mise-en-scène would’ve been a highly appropriate setting. I had so much fun!
