I liked the candid glimpse into the vulnerabilities of a person taking big risks to pursue big dreams. I enjoyed hearing the struggles of a dedicated relationship that spans time and distance. The quirky situations and people you find yourself around are great storytelling material!
What I didn't like
I had a hard time following the timeline of the story towards the last 15 minutes of the show. It seemed to jump around a bit, specifically from the point where you were trying to get a visa, to something in the past before that, to “two years later”. Maybe this can be clarified or re-arranged!
My overall impression
We were fixated on Michelle’s storytelling for the entire show! She shared the emotional and entertaining tale of her journey of self-discovery through her ambitious plunge into the world of comedy. Exceptionally good time, would recommend you see this.
