What I liked
Powerful, gut-wrenching performances by the cast. Beautiful voices that exuded the lives and deaths of the characters and the importance of bringing this story to life.
What I didn't like
Nothing. I enjoyed it all.
My overall impression
Upstairs by Wayne Self is a tragic story told with passion and commitment. The music is hauntingly beautiful, performed by a stellar cast of talented singers and storytellers. I hope it finds another venue to continue and carry on.
