What I liked
This is a relationship show — a mistake to label it otherwise, i.e.“gay”! It follows these two totally different individuals through four decades of their lives, each facing the crisis of sexual identity, AIDS, and the nature of pure love and how to make it work. After a bit, we (at least I did) forget about their sexual orientation and find ourselves identifying with all the struggles of bridging the emotional gaps we all face.. Very satisfying evening, with tons of humor to help us slip into the skins of these two characters.
What I didn't like
No complaints, really. Deserves a full house each and every time — which wasn’t the case this past Friday night.
My overall impression
A insightful, humorous, emotional journey that took me by surprise.
