You might think that there wouldn’t be enough room on one stage for Ernest Hemingway and Orson Wells but Chris Wollman’s beautifully crafted play brings these two impelling and volatile personalities to life in a way that not only makes sense but to an old Wells fan like me – it spells fulfillment!
The cast all shined through their moments. I was particularly drawn to the young Wells (Hunter Saling)and the old Hemingway (Richard Malmos) and the fulfillment they brought to beginnings and endings.
Bravo! Wells or Hemingway fan or not – this is a piece of theater that is not to be missed!
