I thought that the playwright’s understanding of the subject matter – women learning to love themselves through strengths, wounds, the culture in which we find ourselves – was simply stunning. Brava!
What I didn't like
I think that the playwright/performer is wonderful. I wonder what would happen if she saw another actor and another director work on the piece. She clearly has grown it beautifully as far as she can as the writer/performer. It might be interesting for her to see it done by others.
My overall impression
Women rarely get to look into a mirror with such intensity and honesty about our wounds and triumphs. This is brilliant understanding and writing – a must see!
