What I liked
This is a coming of age story and a story of sexual discovery like none I’ve ever heard before. Despite having lived through some pretty devastating trauma as a young girl, Tonya never feels like a victim. She’s a survivor and it’s empowering to hear her story.

My overall impression
Tonya’s voice is a powerful one. She tells her story of being a survivor with humor, passion, grace and an incredible strength. We need the bravery of women like Tonya telling stories like these to help heal the trauma experienced by too many young women.
