What I liked

The performers fell into their characters with ease without resorting to the trend of just showing up and letting their essences do the work for them. They commanded the space without over reaching, overacting, or over simplifying. These two motherfuckers will make you laugh as well as think. The direction upheld a well-threaded and cohesive story. The simplicity of the design elements supported the show without distracting from the heart of it.

What I didn't like

In an effort to avoid spoilers…

I wasn’t a fan of a sound cue at the end. I believe that it COULD be argued to justify an interpretation of the ending that the author may not have intended.

Also, the theatre is a bit warm. Be prepared to shed a layer.

My overall impression

This show has a way of reinstilling faith in humanity while excepting it’s and our own flaws. It speaks to grief, loneliness, and searching for understanding of one another. This piece helps remind us that while we all lead different lives, views, and values, we are all in good company as just a bunch of motherfuckers on a ledge.
