What I liked
I liked the beautiful choreography by Brandon Bolte and the dancing. Everything on stage was simple and effective.
What I didn't like
The writing was lacking depth. I kept thinking of ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND – a complex, deep and poetic look at relationships, soul-mates, love and loss. This was working with the same themes and ideas but on a surface level.
My overall impression
Stringmates is a simple look at the idea of “soul mates”.
