What I liked
A touching and effective performance in this solo show that brings the essence and character of Janis Joplin to life for this brief but gut wrenching snapshot of her life.
What I didn't like
I actually wanted to see more! But perhaps that is the point and also what makes this play so unique it’s a true snapshot that leaves you wanting more.
My overall impression
A must-see play for Janis fans and something that music historians and fans of simple and straight forward performances will enjoy. These kinds of stories and takes on moments of history are what the Fringe is all about!
