What I liked
Brilliant script, fantastic staging (the fight scene in particular was such a hoot!). The cast works wonderfully together—clever, comedic, perfect timing.

My overall impression
Thanksgiving is probably one of my favorite shows I have ever seen at Hollywood Fringe. It’s quirky, fun and hilarious, but also very moving as it’s all about one family’s (rather dysfunctional) Thanksgiving Dinner. The cast is extremely strong and each actor fully embodies their character. It’s interesting to see how each character relates to the others in such an intimate setting (the majority of the play takes place around the Thanksgiving Dinner table). The direction by Kitty Lindsay is on point and there is never a dull moment. The script by Tiffany Cascio is superb because it is not only witty, hysterically funny and clever, but quite poignant and touching as well. All of the characters are beautifully fleshed out and it is a joy to watch their stories unfold on stage. Thanksgiving is a MUST-SEE at this year’s Fringe!
