What I liked

Morgan Matthews’ convincing performance as Exa the robot, fine visual effects and snappy dialogue by playwright Devon Crittenden are what I enjoyed most about the Amitycode.

My overall impression

The future is now thanks to Devin Crittenden’s the Amitycode. Director Nick Cimiluca and his cast offer a superb addition to the 2017 Fringe season. A morality tale wrapped up in a sci-fi version of the Frankenstein story, the Amitycode is brought to life with witty banter, stunning visual FX and fine ensemble acting, highlighted by Morgan Matthews’ excellent performance as Exa the robot. Recommended.
