What I liked
The entire atmosphere of the show is extremely chill. While that does feel like a play on words given that Thugnadian is from Canada, it only makes it a more apt description of the show. It has a very relaxed, loose feel to it, and Thugnadian brings humor out of some very unexpected places. The dichotomy of a Canadian who is a thug provides a lot of fodder for the interesting, unexpected, and hilarious.
What I didn't like
While the concept is brilliant, one can tell that it is still being developed. This show is a strong step in the right direction, but you can see that there is room for some growth and expansion. Although the show does play off of Thugnadian’s basic understanding of seminars, a little polish would help.
My overall impression
If you’re looking for a show to just kick back and enjoy some laughs, this is absolutely the show for you. There are parts that are a bit rough, but overall, the experience is fantastic. Plus, having a run time of only a half an hour, it’s like grabbing a quick, sweet treat in the midst of all the shows that make up Fringe.
