Swipe is a play about the ups and downs of being a woman in the modern world where we are constantly surrounded by technology, selfies, online dating, and the constant thought that someone better might be after the next swipe. It is a relatable piece about the reality of life in the 2000s.

Swipe was driven out of the need to shed light on the way life, dating specifically, works for a woman when technology is the new norm. The goal is to give a voice to the experiences of women who are riding the roller coaster that is life through technology. Many interactions are viewed through a phone or computer screen. This is new and unique to the current generation of eligible daters, meaning there is a learning curve for everyone.
