What I liked

The integration of the drum/rhythms tied in well to the idea of traditional storytelling. I also really liked the use of space.

What I didn't like

I thought everything was well produced. My only thought would be to find more ways to incorporate music into the scenes without people stopping to sing. I loved how rhythms would naturally take over the tone of the piece (like with the guards nay-saying the King’s ideas), and if there was more of that it may fit in better to a longer production.

My overall impression

This is a great, simple story about a time and place in history not many people think about. I loved the format of the narrator and how she interacted with both the audience and the story.
